2012 in Review

Facebook has a cool feature that let’s you see your year in review but it really didn’t capture it all for me. So, here’s the highlights of my year, as I see them, no algorithms needed.

I guess it really didn’t seem that busy at times but it really was quite a year. Just in November I traveled to Raleigh NC, Phoenix AZ, New Jersey and Iowa. That capped off the rest of the year’s travels which included, two trips to Colorado, a stop in Iowa on one of those trips, a trip to Washington D.C. and Richmond VA, a trip to Texas and a trip to Atlanta.

One of the bigger highlights of the year for me was having two chances to serve others in need with Samaritan’s Purse. The first trip, Kristi and I went to Colorado and helped after the wildfires destroyed over 300 homes in Colorado Springs. The second trip, Mike Kickbush and I went to the Atlantic City area of New Jersey to help folks recovering from hurricane Sandy. I hope that I will be able to continue to reach out and help people whenever God allows.

Some how I also managed to make it on the local news a couple of times, speak at several conferences/camps and build quite a few websites. I also started planning for several bigger projects around the house, including a greenhouse that I’m really looking forward to working on in 2013.

Quite a year as I count God’s blessings. I hope that your year was blessed as well. Looking forward to what’s next!
